As our fourth shoot was conducted at an outside location, the weather was something that we had to carefully take into consideration when planning which day we were going to go out and film. For one of the shots we planned on getting the sun coming through over the artists shoulder to creating an interesting natural light effect. We therefore required an early morning shoot as the sun was rising in clear sky conditions.
We therefore decided looking at the week we had scheduled to film, early on Saturday morning would give us the best chance of capturing the desired shot. As well as the forecast sunny conditions, the early morning rain would help to aid the shimmering light affect due to the water that would still be left around on the trees and other forest plants. This is something that could work to our advantage.
