Magazine Article Research and Planning

We recently undertook a magazine article for the magazine NME Radar, this magazine focuses on young up and coming artists (such as ourselves) we thought that this would be the most suitable location to promote our band as it is somewhere larger more established organisations may look to pick up talent.
   We plan to create the magazine article in the same format as the Radar magazine, complete with the NME logos, but follow the unique design of our own style when it comes to the color and font schemes of the article. This was apparent in the articles of the bands that inspire us and there own articles. As in the two examples I have displayed below, the two bands (Arctic Monkeys and The Killers) almost take over the front cover and article with there own theme, yet still very clearly displaying the magazine company, which is something that we tried to replicate in our own work.
